According to ABC radio news, President Obama has decided not to take action on amnesty for illegal aliens (“immigration reform” in Left euphemism) until after the 2014 election. Of course, the reason he decided to wait was because some Democrat Senators up for reelection this year are scared silly that they will lose the election if MORE amnesty is implemented before the election. They think the American voter is TOO STUPID to realize there is no difference whether an illegal act is implemented before or after an election. It is still an illegal act that will do great harm to America!

Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the code phrase used by the Obama Administration and Democrats for amnesty for illegal aliens. Their goal is to grant citizenship to millions of people who violated our laws and came into the United States illegally. Because this goal has not been achieved by Congressional law, President Obama has resorted to executive orders to achieve what was not and is not possible to achieve by law. The President has no constitutional authority to write law, to change law, or to ignore law. All of his executives orders that do any of the three are illegal and unconstitutional.
My proposals in relation to immigration reform:
01) All executive orders issued by the President and all regulations created because of those executive orders in relation to immigration and illegal aliens which are in violation of the powers and laws of Congress are null and void. Nothing granted by those null and void laws shall be honored—they were illegal from the beginning.
02) No amnesty for anyone who came into this nation illegally ever.
03) The borders are secured to prevent a further invasion into the nation. State governments have an absolute right to secure their own borders and may request funding from the federal government to cover the expense of securing their borders.
04) No public services from the federal government for anyone who is in the United States illegally.
05) Coming into the United States illegally is a felony—punishment determined by Congress by law.
06) Anyone who has been deported from the United States, who returns to the United States illegally, has committed a felony punishable by prison time as established by Congress.
07) The current laws in relation to employment of illegal aliens shall be enforced as written.
08) The Refugee Status law(s) shall be suspended until reexamined by Congress and written in such a manner that the President and the executive branch can not expand them through a loose interpretation of the law(s).
09) States have an absolute sovereign right to pass laws in relation to people who are within the State whether within the State legally or illegally. State laws may not be less strict than federal law in relation to illegal aliens but may be more strict. States have the right to deport illegal aliens from the State if the federal government will not.
10) Sanctuary places and cities are illegal and forbidden. The law is to be applied uniformly throughout the United States.
11) A method shall be devised to monitor and insure that people who come into the United States by visa do not overstay their visa.
12) Overstaying a visa may be either a misdemeanor or felony depending upon criteria established by Congressional law.
13) The legal process for entry into the United States and becoming a United States citizen shall be streamlined to expedite the process in a manner provided by law.
14) The process for becoming a citizen based upon birth within the United States when the parents are illegal aliens and or are within the United States on a temporary basis shall be clearly defined by law or by Amendment if needed. The questions to be determined include:
a) should a baby born to an illegal alien within the United States automatically become a United States citizen?
b) should a baby born to a person within the United States on a visa automatically become a United States citizen?
c) should a baby born to a person who enters the United States to give birth and then leaves automatically become a United States citizen?
d) should a baby born to a person within the United States under similar circumstances to the above automatically become a United States citizen?
The sum total of all of the above: Congress determines the law of the land—not the President, not the federal bureaucracy, not the federal courts, not quasi-legal entities of the federal government.
